Temporary Closure for Improvements

We are upgrading this online portal to improve our digital housing application and bidding services and will be making this change by Monday 29th June 2026.

There will be no bidding cycle between Friday 26 June and Thursday 2 July. The next cycle will start on Friday 3 July.

To carry out the change, we need to close this portal for new applications and submitting change requests until the new system is ready on Monday 29th June 2026.

During this time, you will not be able to apply to join the housing register.

You will be able to apply from Monday 29th June 2026 when the system will be opened again for new applications.

Whilst the portal is closed for new applications, you can register your interest to join the common housing register using this form:

You will still need to apply online when the new system opens on Monday 29th June.

If you have started an application but not yet submitted it, it will be deleted because the new system has different questions which require answers, and you would need to answer these questions to submit your application. Because of the changes it will be simpler for you to start a new application.

• subject to immigration control or do not have recourse to public funds?
• under 18?
• not living in the borough?
• a resident of the borough for less than 3 years but not in housing need?
• guilty of bad behaviour?
• receiving an income of more than £90,000 per annum on your own or jointly?
• a homeowner?
